Art Phoenix: Light and Shade

Bobby Goldsmith Foundation and the National Art School invite you to the launch of ‘Art Phoenix: Light and Shade’, a display of work from artists living with HIV.

In partnership with the National Art School (NAS), Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (BGF) presents ‘Art Phoenix: Light and Shade’. Presented as part of Sydney WorldPride 2023, the exhibition will showcase the work of people living with HIV who are empowered to express themselves through the medium of drawing.

Join us for the launch of ‘Art Phoenix: Light and Shade’ from 6-8pm on Friday 3 March in The Cell Block Theatre at NAS. You will the opportunity to bid for your chance to win one of the incredible artworks, knowing that 100% of the proceeds of the sales will go directly to the artist who created it.

“Art Phoenix: Light and Shade” is a culmination of drawing workshops led by acclaimed artist Luke Thurgate for members of the BGF client community who are living with HIV.

The exhibition is free and open to the public, and will be open daily from 3 March – 5 March 2023.

Canapes will be provided; drinks available by donation.
