Hear No Evil – Australian Deaf Dog Rescue and Deaf Rainbow NSW
Hear No Evil – Australian Deaf Dog Rescue and Deaf Rainbow NSW are pairing up on February 18th 2023 at Sydney Park. These two amazing organisations are coming together to show World Pride that Deaf is not a disability The theme for Sydney World Pride is “Gather. Dream. Amplify.”, we intend to do just that. Let’s gather together in the spirit of family, dream of a world without prejudice, and then let us amplify that message in Auslan to humans and pups!
This event is family friendly and fit for all ages. Both foster and adoption dogs will be wagging their tails and ready for the photo booth. Animal educators will be on hand to show just what these amazing dogs are capable of through different talks and demonstrations. Bring your own furry friends down and enjoy the park after learning some Auslan from the Deaf Rainbow crew.
Different activities will be available on the day for both human and dog for gold coin donations, which will go to Hear No Evil’s registered charity. You can also support both Deaf Rainbow and Hear No Evil through the purchase of merchandise on the day, or if you are feeling the community then become a member of Deaf Rainbow NSW
So take a break and bring the whole family down to Sydney Park for an 11:00am start on 18th of February during World Pride month, you never know you might find a new family member!
