From custom–built karaoke rooms, arcade games, DJs, sake, and cocktails, there is no where quite like the playground of GOROS. We are a Japanese restaurant and late night party destination tucked away in the backstreets of Surry Hills, Sydney. We are transforming our venue for WorldPride into a glittery rainbow playhouse for two whole weeks. Open from 5pm on Wednesdays to Saturdays, with FREE ENTRY every single night. On Wednesday 22 February & Wednesday 1 March sing your heart out to queer anthems at Kara-OK for a cash prize of $250, up from our usual $100. Then on Thursday 23 February & Thursday 2 March it’s time to mingle at our all-inclusive LGBTQIA+ mixers. Throw it back for our Nineties dress-up party on Friday 24 February and our Noughties dress-up party on Friday 3 March – there’s prizes for the best-dressed! Then boogie the night away on Saturday 25 February and Saturday 4 March as we bring you a queen-level line-up of queer DJ’s and anthems, with free face painting all night long.
