True Colours is an exhibition by ten talented artists celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community in clay, paint, feathers and (bio-degradable) glitter. Join us in Newtown!
Inspired by this Cyndi Lauper song we pay tribute to the great achievements of the Queer community, both locally and globally, since the original 1978 Gay Rights March. We encourage each other to be proud, stay strong and be true to ourselves. The galvanising challenges of the past show the glorious True Colours of these Heroic Rainbow Defenders and inspire the new generation who are our future. Our community is “beautiful, like a rainbow”. So let’s Party!
