Pride at the Ritz

We kick things off with a screening of Glitter (2001) and an evening of Mariah Carey appreciation courtesy of Sydney’s queen of drag and foremost Mariah aficionado, Vanity! 7pm arrivals for a 7:30pm start.

Then, get the low-down on the greatest drag film ever made, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), with our Q&A screening hosted by Penny Tration and featuring Oscar-winning costume designer Tim Chappel and drag legend Cindy Pastel, whose life inspired the film. 7pm arrivals for a 7:30pm start.

The Mardi Gras Film Festival will host an incredible special event screening of Sydney underground classic Vegas in Space (1991), featuring live performances, a Q&A with the stars and an afterparty in tribute to drag legend Doris Fish.
